Creating categories

Organize your research with categories

Categories in the Research app help you structure your library and keep your research materials neatly organized. This feature allows you to group related items together, making it easier to navigate and manage your growing collection of resources.

How to create a new category

  1. In the main library view, locate the "New category" section in the sidebar.
  2. Click it to add a new category
  3. You can change the name, and click the colored circle to change the category color

Your new category will now appear in the sidebar.

Adding items to categories

When items are added while a category is open, the are automatically added to the open category. Click the add item (+) button on the top right of your library to start adding to the category.

Moving items between categories

It's very simply to move items back and forth between categories. Simply right-click over your item and use the menu to move your item. You can also change an item's category from it's "info" menu.
